I will hopefully get to see her sometime in the next couple of weeks. With work and all things at home I just havent got the time at the moment. That's why I started slimfast. So I was doing something. Otherwise I would just slip back into old habits, and I dont want that. more…

Shall persist with the water/loo thing! I've always been awful for toilet trips and when dieting Im twice as bad! more…

i fiddled about with slimfast before i started on cambridge. it is nowhere near as good, i think slimfast has too many carbs and i felt hungry, i hardly ever feel hungry with cambridge. drinking plenty of water is really important, don't give up because you keep going to the loo. just drink more. and try to wait before you go - your bladder will st more…

I have days like that :( That's why I'm glad I can't eat sometimes. If I just have that little bit of freedom I would eat the pizza and muffins and tell myself I would have nothing else to eat for the rest of the day. I'd still carry on eating though :(

Hope you feel better soon {hugs} more…

you sound just like be babe!! i started to look at cambridge last year, but i had to get my head round it and also christmas out of the way. i made up my mind when to start and until then i just carried on eating 'normally' - no point in stressing out about it if the woman is away until the 27th. but you do need to WANT to do the cambridge, or else more…

Thank you both for commenting. It is such a big thing to decide, actually Im probably just procrastinating and would do better to just jump in head first!

I dont know what there is to think about really. Im fat, I hate being fat, so I should do something about it, instead of just talking about doing something about it.

    Hi Jem

VLCD's are totally different to slimfast. Slimfast is full of sugar. VLCD shakes are low carb which enable you to go into "ketosis". Ketosis is the process of burning fat. Hence when you are on a VLCD your body uses the fat you have stored as fuel so you lose weight quicker. Most ordinary diets have a high water loss not actual more…

i started thinking about cambridge last november, rang the counsellor and everything, but stuff kept happening and i figured that i needed a clear run at it so to speak. there is only one counsellor near me - i'm in east yorkshire, she is half an hour away and doesn't seem to be as good as some - she didn't weigh or measure me for example. but she more…

    Hi

LL is £66 per week and CD is £35. My counsellor told me that Cambridge actually produce the soups and shakes for LL!
Having a counsellor is the most important difference between Slimfast and CD. Knowing that you are going to get weighed in at the end of the week and the fact that you are paying for it can be quite motivati more…

I dont know what to try? Have tried Weight Watchers, S more…
